Trump Chicago Restaurant Poised for Dinner
January 31, 2008 at 4:15 PM | 0 Comments

The now-open Trump International Hotel and Tower in Chicago hasn't yet opened its restaurant, Sixteen, but it promises to be a special occasion spot, with views of the city from its 30-foot-high 16th-floor windows.
Dinner service starts Wednesday, Feb. 6, with chef Frank Brunacci running the kitchen. He's worked at Ritz-Carlton restaurants in the past, and the menu here is appropriately fussy. Look out for French-ish dishes like crab dumplings, pork with Calvados sabayon and parsley-crusted lamb loin. Multi-course tasting menus are another option. Bring lots of money.
If dinner's too much, you should be able to score a serious power breakfast starting as early as 6:30 am. And Saturday afternoons offer "high champagne," a boozier take on high tea, from 12:30 pm to 3.
