SLS Beverly Hills Might Actually Open On Time

One of the final finishing touches at the SLS Beverly Hills was the placement of the SLS Crest above the main entrance this week.

Crest, you ask? Yep, you see the chandelier with those little monkeys that look like they are up to no good? Yeah. That's the crest - or logo - for SLS Hotels.

So the Crest is up. Construction is finishing up. But when can you stay?

The opening of the SLS Beverly Hills has a confirmed date of Oct 28th, and reservations are being accepted for November 1st or beyond. Rooms for opening night start at $444 and so far plenty are still available. Hopefully no more missing their opening dates.

Now we've been following the construction of this hotel, but we're really starting to get excited by just how cool it is.

For example - there are two lobbies, one for hotel guests and another for their "lively multi-faceted public dining and retail environment called The Bazaar by José Andrés".

What's in this Bazaar, you ask? Unique furniture designed just for SLS, (and available for sale), a "shop without walls" featuring products encased within glass cases, and a restaurant by José Andrés featuring "everything from tapas to a Patisserie to cutting-edge cocktails to roving carts of edible delights".

Hmm. Sounds to us like the SLS Beverly Hills will be full of unique surprises when it first opens up. We can't wait!
